Jojo and her younger brother George joined forces in 2019 to create Jorge Events.
Jorge Events provide bespoke photography and videography services, shot in a candid fashion, capturing special moments in an unobtrusive manner.
Jojo is a multi award winning photographer who began her career aged 19 as a photojournalist. Soon after winning the National Geographic’s Grand Prize for Documentary Photography in 2007, she developed a passion for shooting events. Since Jojo’s first event 12 years ago, she has photographed over 300 parties and 100 weddings, gaining a wealth of experience.
George, an ex professional cyclist, has spent the last two years working in Morocco, the Maldives and the Dominican Republic, creating beautiful videos for a variety of event and surf companies. George shoots discreetly with a small hand-held camera.
Jojo and George have been siblings and best friends for 27 years. This close bond forms the core of their seamless partnership.
